New Sampling Regulation and NEW – Now Sampling by LVA!

On December 14, 2023, two new sampling regulations were published in the official gazette!

Sampling Regulation (EU) No. 2023/2782 for Mycotoxins and Sampling Regulation (EU) No. 2023/2783 for Plant Toxin Content in Food will come into effect on January 4, 2024, and be applicable from April 1, 2024 (considering the transitional period for analytics until January 2029). This leads to the repeal of Regulations No. 401/2006 and No. 2015/705.

In future, the same sampling regulations are to apply to all mycotoxins and plant toxins, with a few exceptions, when analysing a type of product.
