Reference Materials

LVA GmbH specializes in the production of high-quality reference materials for mycotoxins. Mycotoxins are toxic metabolites produced by fungi, which can be found in a variety of food- and feedstuff, posing serious health risks to humans and animals. Given the risks associated with mycotoxins, it is crucial to produce reliable reference materials. These materials serve as a standard for calibrating analytical instruments and enable accurate and comparable analysis of mycotoxin samples. By using reference materials, risks to public health and food safety can be minimized, as the quality and accuracy of mycotoxin analyses are enhanced.

LVA reference materials will be produced in the future in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17034, ensuring that the established standards, including metrological traceability, stability, and homogeneity, are met. We have successfully completed the submission to the Austrian Accreditation Body and are currently in the accreditation process. Although our products are not yet accredited, they are already manufactured in compliance with the same high standards. We currently offer reference materials (RMs) and will also provide certified reference materials (CRMs) once the accreditation is complete, ensuring consistent quality standards.
