Reference Materials

LVA GmbH specializes in the production of high-quality reference materials for mycotoxins. Mycotoxins are toxic metabolites produced by fungi, which can be found in a variety of food- and feedstuff, posing serious health risks to humans and animals. Given the risks associated with mycotoxins, it is crucial to produce reliable reference materials. These materials serve as a standard for calibrating analytical instruments and enable accurate and comparable analysis of mycotoxin samples. By using reference materials, risks to public health and food safety can be minimized, as the quality and accuracy of mycotoxin analyses are enhanced.

LVA (certified) reference materials are produced in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17034, meeting all established standards, including metrological traceability, stability, and homogeneity. We have successfully submitted our application to Accreditation Austria and are currently in the accreditation process. Although our products are not yet accredited, they are already manufactured to the same high standards. We offer both reference materials (RM) and certified reference materials (CRM), ensuring consistent quality standards in their production.
