Ochratoxin A – new maximum levels per 01.01.2023!

Due to increased reports of elevated levels of Ochratoxin A in certain foodstuffs in the European Rapid Alert System (RASFF), new maximum levels have been set in various product groups by Regulation (EU) 2022/1370.

Affected by this are among others

Cereals and bakery products
– dried fruit
– spices
– dried herbs
– coffee

For these foods, the new maximum levels according to the above-mentioned regulation will apply from 01.01.2023.
